A small Karnataka Trip

Hi All, This blog will be an informative blog for some one who is planning to go places in Karnataka. Me and my 3 friends (Nirmesh, Chirag & Kushal) planned a trip for 3D/2N during September 1st week.

Day 1

  • We left from Bangalore in morning 6 am. to Ranganatha Temple. On the way to Ranganath Temple we also saw few more temples.
  • Then we left for Madikeri reached there around 3 pm. Madikeri is like a central point from where we can go to other places.
  • We left from Madikeri to Talkaveri. Its the origin point of river Cauvery. That place was awesome. The complete temple was covered by fog. You can climb up some 400 stairs and reach to a peak. We were not able to see after 20ft. Its about 1276 mt above sea level.
  • Then we came back to Madikeri and stayed there.
Day 2
  • Next morning we left for Dubare. Its famous for River Rafting. There are two versions a smaller one (7 km) and a longer one (11km). In the 7 km ride(Rs 500) there were 4 rapids and in 11km(Rs 1000) ride 7-8 rapids. This was an awesome experience. There is a small section in the course of river where you can swim. The guys there provide a life jacket and head gear. MUST DO
  • Then we left from Dubare to Koppa. There we saw The Tibetian Golden Temple. Its a must watch. The temple is very nice and the best part was listening to the chants they were praying with drums and ghunti.
  • Then we left for Mysore. We reached Mysore around 4:30. There we saw the Mysore Palace and the Vrindavan Garden. I personally found vridavan garden a waste of time. The crowd was comparable to the crowd in Mumbai Local.
  • Then we stayed the night in Mysore
Day 3
  • The next morning we left for Talkadu (Talkad). Its a temple.
  • Then we left for Shivasamudram. There are two water falls Gaganachukki and Bharachukki. Those are a must watch. As it was rainy season they were at there best.. At gaganachukki we stayed in water for a while. Then we left for Bangalore and by 10pm we reached our home.
It was a nice and pleasant trip. We booked a car. In all we traveled 900km.

Support Against Corruption

A "Commom Man".
Is the one who suffers.
Is in the doubts till the end.
Which lokpal bill to support.
I am having questions in my mind. The biggest question is Can we trust anyone?. Is there some one who really wants the improvement in the society or his definition of society is himself.
My friend did a really brave job of sending the mail to higher authorities(Prime minister, president...). But I am thinking whether he thought before sending the mail or was it done in just emotional flow.

While writing this post I was thinking what to do. But I guess I am doing the right thing.

I am going to send the mail to the higher authorities. Guys what else can we do. I am sure no one of us going for a fast. But as others are giving a try to eradicate corruption I just want to support them.

A Common Man can only support. But that support is really very important. It is important for the one who cares to fight. A person who is fighting for us, when finds that he is backed by the people of his country gives a boost to his courage and there comes the thought that "What i am doing is correct". It requires courage to stand against corruption. But is requires support for one to stand. Lets get united and just send the mail to higher authorities. We should support.

A trip to goa

Hi friends,
Let me tell you abt my recent trip to Goa. Well this blog will a kind of informative abt Goa with some of my experiences.

We reached Goa at 10a.m. We were not preplanned. To utarte hi sabne apne dosto aur familiy members ko phone lagana chalu kara. Basically hum ko ye pata lagana tha ki hum ruke kaha. Aur jo hamesha hota hai wo hi hua CHAOS. Sab apni apni ray rakhne lage. At the end we decided to move to Calangute beach, got a room der and baad me samudra ki lehro ke saath khelne hum 7 veer chal diye. Kuch ki to paani chute hi phat gayi kyonki unhe tairna nahi aata tha. In this way our Day 1 started. Then we spent the whole day at the beach.
Next day we went to the Baga beach.

One thing I want to tell you is that Baga beach has awesome night life. It has gr8 crowd. Nice pubs, discs. Lekin bahut hi bakwaas bouncers, hamare unke saath pange ho gaye the. People who drink must go to Tito's club. Entry costs 1500/- but the some of the drinks are free. I went to Mambo's club. obviously no free beer and entry costed only 500/- Rs, but the atmosphere was better then Tito's club.
And people mind it, you should go Goa with your girlfriend/s, you can get the wildest part of them out der. Maine ye galti kari, you dont repeat that. Tito's, Mambo's and Club Cubana are gr8 place to visit, but they have couple entries only.
They have awesome babes and and good DJ's. Waise if you are not with your girls than don't worry, you will get lot of girls who also want to get into the club, just you have to dare to ask them. I did that it twice once got failed and the next time I got 2 girls from Delhi who were ready to get in. The party goes on till 4-5 in morning.

3rd day I took my bike and went to see the churches for which Goa is famous.
There are basically 4 churches one should see those are "Church of Our Lady of Rosary", "Se Cathedral", "Basilica de Bom Jesus", "Church of St. Cajetan", but the list does not ends here.

Out of these church Basilica is of more importance because it holds the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavierin. Then I went to Ponda, it is 19km from old goa. there I visited Manguesh Temple. One can also visit to Naguesh temple, Safa Shahouri mosque and many other things.

The last day I went to Arambol beach. I must say that this one of the best beach in Goa.

Compared to Baga and Calangute the crowd is young and more friendly. Its more lively then other beaches, people will enjoy talking to you and will lent their ear to you. At this beach you will find people like philosophers, artists and people who are not common. In sab ki prajaati hi kuch aur hoti hai. At this beach I got the chance to listen to a live music show at "Loekie cafe". It was a very nice experience. I also wanted to do para gliding but because the wind was not flowing the way we wanted, Mr. Andrew(owner of arambol hammock and a paraglider) suggested not to take the risk. For para gliding we climbed up a cliff, though we did't do the paragliding but what we earned from tiring trek was the view from the cliff and specially the sunset.

We also saw the Keri beach, and the Terekhol fort from the cliff. The view was amazing.

I have decided that my next trip to Goa will be of 3 days
1st day I will go to Arambol beach do paragliding, go to the Terekhol fort and Keri beach.
2nd day i will Go to Redi fort and paradise beach.
3rd day I will go to baga beach and enjoy the night life.
